While his brother, Timothee, runs the NYC office, Vassili takes on the Paris-based side of things. To gain some insight to what inspires such a creative and entrepreneurial spirit, we asked Vass to show off some of his favorite worldly and sentimental possessions in his Paris home. See where Vass's travels have taken him...

Dear Liz,
I am an art student in NYU and I am going to have to disillusion you, so brace yourself. Why don’t you take those quotation marks off “unprivileged” and shove them up your ass? I don’t know what vendetta you hold against NYU. Whatever college sob story you have (if you even have one) is about to get skinned and worn like a cape of victory on my behalf.
Perhaps before writing your generalized, biased bullshit you should have actually made the attempt to go into the art building or done some sort of research. Then you would have found out that most NYU students don’t even know that the art building exists - that’s because we are located off campus, shoved into a single building. If you were to walk into that building you would notice the peeling walls, the single fucking drying rack for about six different printmaking classes, computers that have switched their function to decorum, and a whole lot of other privileges. If you even put in an effort to ask any art student about the department you would find out that we are totally and completely fucking underfunded, which is why Carla Bruni’s presence is a wonderful thing, because yeah, one of our art students should absolutely have the opportunity to travel to France for free.
I mean, it’s not like we pay $36,000 for education as well as an art supply fee and a building fee. Please don’t confuse the evil brain behind the inner works of University with our awesome art community that is trying to make ends meet by networking our asses off and supporting every single student. And if you are going to shit talk NYU, don’t fucking dare to include our art department.
I bet the rest of the University has wealthy, over-privileged assholes who wipe their asses with daddy’s money, but name a school that doesn’t. Their existence is irrelevant to the fact that the art department desperately needs outside support.
Yeah, I bet it is awesome to live in a dorm. I honestly wouldn’t know because I lived in fucking Midwood (look it up on a map) for three years and moved to Bushwick this year, where I pay for my own apartment by working, while going to school and having an internship.
And I am so privileged that I paid for school strictly by loans and by the small amounts of money my dad and I could squeeze out, so I am in debt up my ass unless of course I suffer an early death.
So, you miserable fucking cunt, check your facts before writing, or do any kind of research beforehand, and don’t mess with the art students because we will piss down your throat and turn it into a jaw-dropping performance piece.
