Manhattanite- some people collect art, some people collect cars that they do not drive, and others collect clothes. Vintage clothes do not need to be that expensive (side note).. its how you put it together. Clubs like butter/one oak do promotional events for free all the time, so you can't assume that these parties are financed by the host.

Alexa- I look forward to seeing the new site. Thank you for being upfront and a real human being.. that is rare and I appreciate it. I do not go out much but I am addicted to keeping up to date online with "who to watch"types. My husband and I are very involved in various charities, so I was interested when I saw the auction information online. Therefor, all I was trying to find out was which notables you have styled? I do not work in the world of gossip, so I guess I am a "good doer".. but who doesn't love the internet! Good Luck. Please don't misread my notes, as I give you "props" for being fashionably out of the box and following your heart. Just be careful you don't run before you can walk, this city is cruel to those who speak a lot but at the end of the day have little to show.

Manhattanite: This fashionista is not a rich socialite, other bloggers write that she has moved here for school and seems to be "recreating" herself by being over exposted and titling herself as a "celeb stylist" The book writing thing seems sociopathic. I checked her website and that confirms this- she has a chaotic website where I can not tell who she is or what she really does still, besides being a fashionista student. My suggestion to her would be to actually style a celeb before auctioning off your "skills" for charity as a celeb stylist, and perhaps leave the book writing to people who have a real story and insight to this city (and have lived here longer than 4 years of school).

All childish gossip aside- I am all for taking fashion risks, and acknowledge some of her successes and her clear deeper understanding and appreciation for a culture within fashion- but after doing some googling ("research"), I am still unsure who coined this fashionista as a "stylist".. I see her skills are even being auctioned off for an upcoming charity event under the title of "celebrity stylist"- can any of these celebrities be confirmed?
